I am pretty sure my love of a great event comes from my grandmother, who loved to throw a party for any and all occasions. I remember how every little event in life always offered some sort of celebration, and she always seemed to make them all so special by making sure every little detail was covered and meticulously thought out and executed. As I grew older, my understanding of the foundations of a good event were clear, I just needed some practice at throwing a few, and I got my chance in high school, when my parents allowed me to plan my graduation party. It was the first real time I was able to pick a venue, the menu, decor, theme, color scheme, and music. To my parents surprise, it was an extremely organized (not like my room at the time) and a successful event. That's when the event planning bug really bit me and I began planning small events for family and friends throughout college and after.

My love of a good party and planning has always carried over into my work. Working as in Human Resources for multiple companies, I have had the opportunity to plan employee appreciation events and company parties at some of the top venues in New York City, including the Intrepid, Ellis Island, and The Plaza Hotel. I always loved seeing the employees walk into the room/venue with smiles on their faces excited to see what surprise or fun activity was available to them at each event. 

As a wedding and events planner, I have been able to take my love of planning and help clients and couples create amazing experiences for themselves and their guests to remember for a lifetime. There is nothing better than knowing my work on their special day has made an impression on them.
